We would like to say a big thank you to our sponsors. Even in tough times they helped us out. With these sponsors/donations, we are able to keep up with our bills and do some new maintenance on the commercial building.

It is with great sadness that the Renville County Ag Society announces the cancellation of the 2020 Renville County Fair due to COVID-19 restrictions & guidelines.
Our youth exhibitors and fair traditions are very important to us, but nothing is more important than the health and safety of every supporter that joins us at the Renville County Fair. This also extends to the Fair and 4-H staff, carnival employees, food and commercial vendors, entertainment, dedicated volunteers, judges, and hard-working Chairs and Superintendents who make our Fair possible. We have also come to the realization that financially it was not in the best interests of the Fair to go forward this year due to lower expected attendance. Grandstand events held in a capacity-limited environment would be a huge loss in revenue that would affect our Fair in future years. However, we are looking into the possibility of holding our Demolition Derby this fall, if restrictions are lifted.
We will continue to work closely with Renville County 4-H to help support the program so that 4-H members can have their exhibits judged and earn the opportunity to move onto the State level of competition. In this time of uncertainty, we encourage all youth to continue working on their projects & continue to thrive. Please contact Jon Dilworth, Renville County Extension Educator at 507-272-5791, with any 4H related questions you may have.
With this decision we will now focus on continued improvements on the Fairgrounds. Through the efforts of our fair board members & volunteers, we will be focusing on projects around the grounds & buildings. We greatly appreciate our financial supporters and we will continue to welcome any donations to assist in the improvements to our grounds.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support in this decision and are happy to announce that the dates of the 2021 Renville County Fair have been set for August 12-14. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to your Fair in 2021.
Directors: Mike Schneider, Ben Bohlin, Steve Schmidt, Josh Jungers, Randy Johnson, Brandon Baumgartner, Troy Nelson, Paul Schneiderman, Raquel Anderson, Sarah Amberg, Brandi Wulkan, Laura Jungers & Justin Kubesh.
